Nirupama Dubey is an international squash player and a student of the Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism (BAMCJ) at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Somaiya Vidyavihar University. A distinguished athlete at both national and international levels, she has represented India in prestigious world and Asian championships, earning accolades across senior and junior categories.

In 2024–25, Nirupama won bronze medals at the HCL National Doubles Squash Championships (2024, 2025), a gold medal at the 2nd Garware Club House All India Squash Championships (PSA Satellite), and the CSK Isquash Open 2025, along with a silver medal at the Avaada Otters Squash Open 2025. She represented India at the World University Championships in South Africa, securing a bronze medal in the Mixed Team Event, and achieved a 7th-place finish at the WSF World Team Championships in Hong Kong, where the Indian team also received the Most Improved Team Award. She was part of the winning team at the All India University Squash Open 2025 and finished among the top four at the HCL 80th National Squash Championships.

In the junior category, Nirupama won silver medals in both individual and team events at the Khelo India Youth Games 2024, secured a bronze medal at the Junior National Championship, and represented India at the Asian Junior Individual Championship and the WSF World Junior Squash Championships. She achieved a career-high junior ranking of No. 3 in India and No. 5 in Asia in the Girls’ Under-19 category.

Currently ranked No. 6 in India in the Senior Women’s category (with a career-high ranking of No. 4), Nirupama has also attained a PSA World Tour ranking of No. 180, reflecting her growing presence on the international squash circuit.

Veena Dalvi is a student of the Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism (BAMCJ) at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Somaiya Vidyavihar University. A versatile sportsperson excelling in both football and karate, she has demonstrated outstanding athletic achievement at university, state, and regional levels.

In 2025–26, Veena won a Silver Medal in Karate (-50 kg category) while representing Somaiya Vidyavihar University, qualifying for the All India University Games. She also secured a Gold Medal at the State Karate Tournament, earning qualification for the National Championship. In football, she was recognized as the Best Player of the Match while representing the University in the West Zone Football Qualifiers and was part of the runner-up team in the Reliance Foundation Youth League. She further added to her achievements by winning the Green Football Thane Tournament.

Beyond her medal-winning performances, Veena has consistently represented prestigious teams and institutions in competitive football. She has represented the Thane Football Association in the Western India Football Association Tournament, Somaiya Sports Academy and Somaiya Vidyavihar University in the Women’s Premier League under the Mumbai Football Association, and the University in the Maharashtra State Youth & Senior Club League. Demonstrating strong leadership skills, she served as Team Captain of the University football team at the West Zone Football Tournament (2026–27) and also represented Aurobindo in the KJ Somaiya Fest Football Tournament.

Through her achievements across multiple sports, Veena exemplifies excellence, determination, and leadership, bringing distinction to Somaiya Vidyavihar University.
